ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
THEME
Theme: Vietnamese Culture Through the Lens of Young Filmmakers
Note: In each documentary, you need to select and highlight one (or several) Vietnamese cultural values that you feel connected to, impressed by, or want to share.
FILM DURATION
Documentary Short under 10 minutes or Documentary Short under 40 minutes
FORMAT
Format: MP4 (H.264 codec) or MOV or DCP
Resolution: Full HD (1920×1080) or 4K (3840×2160)
Frame rate: 24fps or 25fps
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Audio: 24-bit, Stereo (2 channels) or 5.1 surround (if available)
SUBTITLES
Format: .srt or directly embedded (Burn-in) in the film
Font: appropriate size, no spelling or grammatical errors
No limitations on the original language (audio, voiceover) of work
Each film must have two separate subtitle versions in French and English.
Note: Additional Czech subtitles are required (if requested by the organizers)
REQUIRED PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
Official Poster (Portrait/Vertical): JPEG/PNG format, 300 DPI, minimum size A3 (or larger).
Film Stills (Minimum 05): JPEG/PNG format, 300 DPI, clean (no text or watermarks).
Crew Photo: JPEG/PNG format, 300 DPI.
Trailer or Teaser (< 2 mins): MP4/MOV format.
Synopsis: Approx. 150 words.
Director’s Statement: Maximum 150 words.
Film Excerpt: A 60-second clip, clean version (no subtitles, no watermarks, not a trailer).
