My Ao Dai was gifted to me by the ART SPACE association at the end of August 2022 as a retirement gift. I cannot express the surprise and emotion of receiving this gift. I wore it all that day and felt the dress made me very special and feminine.
In 2019, ART SPACE Association started joining us to organize the event series "Other Cultures" and "Festival of International Solidarity". These are the annual flagship programs proposed by the International Relations department of the city of Saint-Herblain, aimed at promoting cultural, linguistic, artistic and solidarity diversity in the territory. It was then that I had the opportunity to explore Vietnamese culture as well as the dynamism, generosity and great energy of ART SPACE members in developing the friendship between France and Vietnam.
I admire and even a little envy the grace of the outfits that the ART SPACE members wear during
their activities. Wearing a long dress was really an enjoyable experience, which made me feel even more tender. Wearing a traditional outfit makes me feel like I am sharing and understanding more about a culture.
